Did I expect it to help? Probably not, but I gave it a shot anyway. It’s not pleasant smelling and it’s way too liquid-y. Triple Cream does a better job, although it too just eases the symptoms.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1LQE7BC7GFTUZ This is a video review of California Baby’s Calendula Cream.

The scent is very mild and the 2 pack makes the purchase much more economical as opposed to buying them individually.

We are definitely going to continue buying this product for the baby, Mom and Dad.

My 2yo has super sensitive skin and formed a mystery rash after I smothered him in Burt’s Bees baby lotion. The rash had started to dry out so I ordered this cream to see if it would help to relieve the dry skin and finish healing the rash. It instantly brought the rash back and made it worse. I’m back to just letting the rash dry out and keeping all lotions/soaps away from him.

AS a lotion tho it’s really nice. I like it for my hands and elbows/knees, etc on dry winter days.

I bought this calendula cream after my friend recommended it to me and I am very glad that I did! My daughter is now 4 months old and she had horrible cradle cap on her scalp and ears. I use this cream everyday on her scalp and it has kept all of the cradle cap away for 8 weeks now. I have to use the cream behind her ears multiple times a day, and it is effective in this area as well. I also use it on her face when she cuts herself with her fingernails and it seems to speed along the healing process. I even used it on myself when I had a cut, and it actually felt much better.

The calendula cream has a pleasant, minty smell. The 2 pack is a better deal than buying them individually in the store. A little bit goes a long way. I use it everyday, and it has lasted me approx 2 months. I do not use it on my daughter’s body because it is a bit pricey. I use Burt’s Bees baby lotion for her dry skin.

PROS:

1-keeps cradle cap away

2-lasts a long time

3-smells nice

4-no parabens

CONS:

1-pricey, but you can save $$ when buying the 2 pack

My daughter developed eczema on her joints at 5 months. Before seeing a doctor I wanted to try something gentle, having eczema myself I didn’t want her exposed to harsh medication. I use Aveeno soothing relief moisture cream all over her body and california baby on the eczema patches Her skin cleared up in 3 days! I also use an emollient soap free bath formula.
